According to the report, there is a big loss in Turnberry Course located in west coast of Scotland, which is up to 23 million dollars. Stephanie Baker in Bloomberg writes that: “The company thinks the main reasons for the loss is the unstable currency value and the six-month shut because of the reconstruction.”

The Trump International Golf Links is located at the east coast city—Aberdeen, and its deficit last year is 1.8 million dollars. “The company say that the reasons for income decrease is the drop of oil price, economic decline in Northeastern Scotland and the destroy of a heavy snow last winter.” Baker writes.

Trump had quitted his position as course manager before he was inaugurated as President in January, and his son Eric Trump is responsible for these two courses now. AP claims in a report that: “In the Friday reporting, president’s son Eric, who is also the director of the British sub-company that owns two resorts expressed his confidence for the resort to attract more golfers”.

Trump bought Turnberry in 2014, and Trump Internationa Golf Links was newly built on a land bought in 2006. The Alisa Course of Turnberry ranks 22 in The World’s 100 best courses elected by Golf Digest, while Trump International Golf Links ranks 54.
